Luke Molynuex could be a sign of things to come at Sunderland AFC as despite an abysmal two years which has seen the Black Cats drop from the top flight of English football down to the third tier, however the quality of youth coming through at the Stadium of Light is a breath of fresh air for Sunderland fans.

The drop in the divisions has made it easier for players to break into the first-team, but the youngsters are a revelation for fans who have seen overpaid superstars lead their club to constant relegation battles and eventually back to back relegation's.
But now the likes of Josh Maja, Denver Hume, Lyden Gooch, Bali Mumba and George Honeyman are all making the most of their opportunities but now another youngster, Molyneux, has grabbed attention after scoring his first professional goal.
Molyneux, is showing great potential and has the ability to break into the first-team at Sunderland this year, and was already handed his debut on the final day of last season.
Molyneux has already featured four times this season under Jack Ross, although twice has been in cup competitions.
But now Molyneux has been given his opportunity to shine while out on loan to fellow northeast side Gateshead in the National League , and Molyneux is flourishing in the limelight scoring in Gateshead's 4-0 FA Cup fourth-round qualifying win over Dunston.
If Molyneux continues this from during his loan move, a spot in the first-team could be a real possibility for the young English winger.
