Darlington striker moves to league rival
Darlington have a gap to fill after Reece Styche left the club for Alfreton Town this week.
Styche, a Gibraltan international who signed for the Quakers in November 2017, and scored twice on his debut in the FA Trophy against Harrogate and scored 21 times in the league following that.

After starting his career at Hednesford Town, he established a great goal scoring reputation at Forest Green Rovers, where he scored 35 times in 108 appearances.
Styche has bagged five goals in 10 starts this campaign for Darlington including a hat-trick on the opening day at Brackley.
The Reds swooped for Styche following a successful period for the striker away on international duty with Gibraltar coming off the bench in their 1-0 over Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Armenia and 2-1 win over Lichtenstein.
Styche took to twitter after leaving the club with a large emotional message to fans explaining his decision to leave the club.
Alfreton manager Billy Heath had this to say to the clubs official website following the addition of Styche amongst others.
“We are delighted to have signed Reece, he is another experienced addition to the squad and he has always scored goals. He’s always scored goals at whatever level he has played and especially at this level,
“He had a big impact on Darlington and he will bring goals to us and added quality to the squad,
“Reece is another competitor and it’s a big signing for us and a quality addition. We are pleased to have got him.”
