Where was Lamine Kone on Saturday?

Life has not been excellent for a long time for Sunderland fans and it didn’t continue last weekend after a disappointing 2-0 loss at home to play-off hopefuls Preston.

The Black Cats ended the game with 10-men after Clarke-Salter was sent off for a second yellow card in the second half.

A few days after the match, centre-back Lamine Kone posted a holiday snap much to the hatred of many Sunderland supporters.

A lot of Sunderland fans replied to Kone on twitter to direct their frustrations with the team and Kone himself:

However there were a few to support Kone rather than criticise him for his holiday antics:

Sunderland find themselves sat rock bottom of the table with 28 points and staring relegation in the face.

They face tough challenges of Derby, Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds in their next 3 games without looking likely to improve.

It is likely that the Black Cats will be succumbing to a second relegation in 2 seasons, being demoted this time into League One football.
