Four Middlesbrough player’s have been called-up for international duty ahead of the forthcoming inte

Defender Dael Fry has been called-up for England U21 international duty as well as fellow Boro teammate Jack Harrison.

Harrison, on-loan from Man City, made his England debut back in October at the Riverside Stadium in a 3-1 win against Scotland.

The former New York City FC winger is yet to make a start for Middlesbrough and has only played off the bench for Boro.

England take on Romania U21 on Saturday and then take on Ukraine on the 27th March.

Adama Traore has also earned his first call-up for Spain today.

The 22-year-old was included in the 21-man squad for Spain’s two Euro U21 qualifiers, against Northern Ireland in Belfast on Thursday March 22 (7.45pm) and at home to Estonia five days later (6.30pm).

Britt Assombalonga has also been included in the DR Congo squad for their friendly match against Tanzania.

Assombalonga has scored 12 goals in 36 games this season in all competitions and is currently the clubs top goalscorer.

Britt is yet to make an appearance for the national side and will be hoping to get a run out after finding game time to come by in recent weeks due to the outstanding form of fellow striker Patrick Bamford who currently has eight goals in five games.
