Darlington vs Kidderminster Harriers Preview
Darlington will face Kidderminster Harriers in the National League North on Saturday at Blackwell Medows.
The Quakers will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing 3-0 loss at Brackley Town last time out.
That result leaves Darlington 18th in the league, with Harriers in 5th, occupying a play off spot.
The last time these two sides met it ended 3-3 after Darlington came from 3-1 down to salvage a point, David Syers getting a late equaliser that day. Syers has been in good form of late getting 2 in his last 3 games.
Win could see Darlington go as high as 11th, but a loss could see them drop to 19th if Leamington better the Quakers results.
With a tough run of fixtures coming thick and fast Darlington will be looking to amass points as quickly as they can and move away from the lower reaches of the league.
Kidderminster however could consolidate their place in the play offs with a win and should they win and Bylth Spartans lose they’d move into 4th place, however a defeat could potentially move them to 7th spot and outside of the play off places should York and Spennymoor better Kidderminster’s result.
Three of Darlington’s next four games will be played at home so this is a crucial period for the club to move away from the relegation spots.
Home form has proved crucial in recent times for the Quakers picking up 4 points in their last two home games including a 3-0 hammering of play off chasing Blyth Spartans last time out at Blackwell Meadows.
Kick off is at 3PM at Blackwell Meadows with Tickets available on the gate.
