Darlington vs Kidderminster Preview
Darlington face another tough test as they look to distance themselves from the relegation places as they welcome 5th placed Kidderminster Harriers to Blackwell Meadows.
Darlo will be looking to bounce from a disappointing result last time out as they were soundly beaten 3-0 away at 3rd placed Brackley Town.
Darlo are still without defender Dominic Collins who is suffering from a hamstring injury, he is a week or so away from returning.
Striker Stephen Thompson is available after serving a one match ban for picking up two yellow cards in the win at Bradford Park Avenue two weeks ago.
As for the visitors Kidderminster, they remain without Jimmy O’Connor and Brandon Hall.
Defender O’Connor pulled up with an Achilles injury before last weekend’s defeat at Harrogate.
On-loan Wolves goalkeeper Jonathon Flatt will continue in goal as Hall recovers from a thigh injury.
Despite a defeat last weekend Darlo have been in excellent form of late, prior to that game they had won three games in a row and have only lost one of their previous five league games.
As for Kidderminster they also tasted defeat last weekend losing to top of the table Harrogate Town 2-0 but their form is an exact mirror of Darlo in the last 5 games winning 3 and drawing 1 of there last 5 games.
Although Darlington have been in good form of late, it’s tough to see them beating a strong Kidderminster side who are sat comfortably in the playoff places.
Darlo will give it a good go but I’ll be surprised to see them pick up any points here. Darlington 0-2 Kidderminster Harriers.
